Sims 4 Female Hair CC

Sort by

Sims 4 female hair CC covers what EA's packs only sample: long waves, braids, buns, bobs, natural curls, locs, ponytails and updos. Unisex styles are included, and every style links to its creator.

Textured hair is where creators have filled the biggest gap. Look for coils, box braids, knotless braids, twists, locs, puffs and afros, many with edges and baby hair painted in. Search for a style by name, such as braids or locs, to narrow the list.

Long hair needs a little planning. The game has no hair physics, so very long styles can cut through high collars, hoods and backpacks. If a style clips with one outfit, an updo or ponytail for that outfit usually solves it; hair can be set per outfit category, just like clothes.

Match the hair to the rest of the look with makeup, women's clothes and accessories. For the game's own painted style, see Maxis Match hair; shorter cuts and fades are in men's hair, and any Sim can wear them.

Frequently asked questions

Why does long hair clip through my Sim's clothes?

The game has no hair physics, so hair and clothing meshes can overlap. Pick a shorter style or an updo for outfits with high necklines, hoods or bags.

Is there CC hair for Black Sims?

Yes. Creators make braids, locs, coils, twists, afros and puffs, often with edges and baby hair. Search for the style you want to narrow the list.

Can male Sims wear female hair CC?

Yes. Change the clothing preference in CAS's gender options and the style shows up for any Sim.

Can I give my Sim different hair for each outfit?

Yes. Hair is saved per outfit category, so a Sim can wear a bun for workouts and loose waves for formal events.
