Terms of use

  • What Sims4.cc is: a directory of free Sims 4 custom content made by independent creators. We link to their pages; we don't host their files. Creators own their work, and their own terms of use apply when you download.
  • No guarantees: custom content can break with game updates. Back up your saves and Mods folder. We check links and pack requirements, but we can't promise every item works with your game. Downloads come from creators' own sites, not from Sims4.cc, so we're not responsible for the files themselves or for what happens when you install them. We regularly check that links are safe and still lead to the creator's real page, and we remove any that don't. If a link looks wrong, report it from the item page.
  • Your account: keep your sign-in secure. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the community guidelines.
  • What you post: you keep ownership of your comments, collections and submissions, and you give us permission to show them on Sims4.cc. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
  • Not affiliated with EA: The Sims is a trademark of Electronic Arts Inc. Sims4.cc is a fan site, not endorsed by or connected with EA.
  • Liability: we provide Sims4.cc as it is. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
  • Law: these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Community guidelines

Short and simple, for comments, collections and link submissions:

  1. Be kind. No harassment, hate, threats or personal attacks, including about creators.
  2. Keep it family-friendly. Many players are teenagers. No sexual content, and no links to adult CC or mods.
  3. Respect creators. Don't link to re-uploads, leaked early-access or paywalled content, or "free" copies of paid work. Always link to the creator's own page.
  4. No spam. No ads, referral links or repeated posts.
  5. Keep it relevant. Comments should be about the item or collection they're on.

We review new comments and submissions before they appear. Breaking these rules gets the post removed, and repeated or serious breaches get the account closed.

For creators: credit and removal

Sims4.cc lists free custom content and always links to the creator's own page. We show the creator's preview images and item screenshots, credited and linked, and we never host or re-upload the download files themselves.

Want a listing changed or removed? Email contact [at] sims4 [dot] cc with the page link, or use the "I'm the creator" link on any item page. We act on removal requests within 10 working days, and we'll update wrong credit, packs or links straight away.

Formal notices: if you believe something on Sims4.cc infringes your copyright, send the page link, the work concerned and your contact details to contact [at] sims4 [dot] cc. We'll remove it while we look into it.
