Sims 4 Hair CC

Sort by

Sims 4 hair CC fills the biggest gap in the base game: more textures, lengths and cultural styles. Browse Maxis Match and Alpha hair for every age, each linked to its creator's page.

Hair is where the two CC styles differ most. Maxis Match hair uses clumped, painted strands that blend with EA's own; Alpha hair has fine strands and realistic texture. Mixing the two in one household can look uneven, so many simmers pick a side.

On each listing, check the details: the ages it's enabled for, whether it's hat compatible and how many colours it comes in. Many creators use EA's own hair colours so their styles match the game's. Some hair is also disabled for random, so it won't turn up on townies.

Browse men's hair or women's hair, then finish the look with makeup and accessories.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Maxis Match and Alpha hair?

Maxis Match hair is stylised to match the game's own look. Alpha hair is realistic, with fine strands and detailed textures. Both work in the same game.

Why does CC hair look blurry?

The game compresses Sim textures by default. Turn on Uncompressed Sim Textures in Game Options > Graphics to see hair at its full detail.

Does hair CC work with hats?

Only when the creator has made it hat compatible, and the listing says so when they have. Other hair can clip through hats.

Is there hair CC for toddlers and kids?

Yes. Many creators enable their hair for children and toddlers; the Age line on each listing shows who it fits.
