The Sims 4 CC edit: 26 October–1 November 2026
The pumpkins are packed away and a new patch has landed, so this week belongs to everyday life. Out of everything creators shared between 26 October and 1 November, we picked eight that make a home feel lived in: a proper laundry corner, a soft bathroom, a coffee bar worth showing off, fresh hair and nails, plus a mod that repairs what the patch broke.
Here's the edit, with the packs you'll need for each.
Editor's pick: Monday Laundry
By Syboulette · Washer, dryer and hamper work with Laundry Day (SP); the vacuum works with Bust the Dust (Kit); decor versions included · 18 items · Maxis Match · Creator's site
Eighteen new pieces for the laundry spot every home needs: a washer and dryer that look like they'd actually run, a mop that has seen some floors, stacked towels, detergent and a laundry basket waiting its turn. It's the quiet clutter that turns a showroom into a home, and that's exactly what this week is about. You don't need the packs to use it, because every functional piece also comes as decor; with Laundry Day and Bust the Dust they work for real.
CAS
DOUX - Cleo Hairstyle
By Doux · Alpha · Short bob with a blunt fringe · CurseForge
A sharp, straight bob with a blunt fringe, and the most polished short cut we saw this week. Doux has well over a hundred hairstyles behind them, and this one gives an Alpha Sim an instant, confident look. The creator's page doesn't list swatches or ages, so check those in CAS.
Leahlillith Ruelle Hairstyle
By Leah Lillith · Maxis Match · Hat compatible · All LODs · Custom thumbnail · 11 MB · The Sims Resource
A braided bun in Leah Lillith's soft Maxis Match style, tidy enough for the office and pretty enough for a date. It works with hats and has every LOD, so it holds up in Live mode as well as in CAS. The matching claw clip is a separate download in the Hats section of the same set.
Harlow Boots
By 148dazed · Base game compatible · HQ compatible · Both frames · 22 swatches · Young adult and adult · CurseForge
Statement boots with built-in height, so there's no fiddling with the height slider. They're enabled for both frames, which is rarer than it should be for shoes this bold. One honest caveat: at around 33,000 polys they're heavy for footwear, so keep an eye on them on an older computer.
Chroma Nails
By Trillyke · Base game compatible · 20 swatches with a few ombrés · Custom thumbnail · Creator's Tumblr (download on Patreon, free)
Edgy stiletto nails in a range of chrome designs, plus a few ombrés. Nails are easy to overlook in CAS, yet they're the finishing touch that makes a look feel styled. Trillyke built them on an edited EA mesh rather than a new one; the download is a free public post on Patreon.
Build/Buy
PETAL - Part 3
By joyceisfox · Base game (the functional hamper needs Laundry Day (SP)) · 40 items · CurseForge
Part three of the PETAL series moves into the bathroom with matching cabinet sets in classic shapes, plus plenty of colours and patterns, autumn shades included. Forty pieces that coordinate this well make a cosy bathroom a ten-minute job. Search "PETAL" or "Joyce" in Build/Buy, and keep the file ending in "texture" in your Mods folder, because several items share it.
Luxury Fridges & Coffee Bar
By platinumluxesims · Alpha · 2 fridges, coffee bar unit, functional coffee machine and a jar of beans · Gold or silver metalware · CurseForge
Two detailed statement fridges and a coffee bar with a working coffee machine, each with a choice of gold or silver hardware. It's the luxe kitchen corner EA keeps promising in kits and never quite delivers. The fridges are detailed, though the creator kept the poly count as low as they could.
Mods
Occult Hybrid Mod (updated)
By BearlyBearable · Base game compatible (it does little without at least one occult pack) · Script mod · Mod The Sims
Lets a Sim be a vampire, spellcaster, werewolf, fairy or mermaid at once without the game falling over, and it's already one of our go-to gameplay fixes. This week's update matters: the 27 October patch added a filter that strips occult traits from hybrids as they load, and the creator adjusted it within a day. It also brings tidier werewolf outfits, a fairy wing randomiser and a fix for stuck skin overlays. It's still a work in progress, so read the known issues on the creator's page before you install.
That's this week's edit. New to custom content? Our guide to installing Sims 4 CC covers script mods too. Already thinking about December? The Christmas Collection is ready when you are.
