The Sims 4 CC edit: 19–25 October 2026
Halloween is days away (our Halloween Collection has the spooky side covered), yet the best new CC this week is for the rest of the year: a designer kitchen, hair worth keeping, everyday denim and two clever little mods. Out of everything creators released this week, these are the eight we'd install tonight.

Editor's pick: Del Sol kitchen appliances

Part nine of HeyHarrie's Del Sol series moves into the kitchen: a panel-ready column fridge, a wall oven, two range cookers and flush induction hobs, all built into warm wood cabinetry with vintage metal handles. EA's appliances always look dropped in; these look built in, the way a designer kitchen should. Only the wall oven needs Dream Home Decorator, and both range cookers work in the base game. Search "DelSol" in Build/Buy to find the lot.

Locs in 40 colours, with an optional hairbase and a matching hair accessory in 39 colours. Locs are still hard to find in custom content, so a set this complete is a real find. It's hat compatible too, so it survives a change of outfit.
Hime Hairs

Three takes on the hime cut: spiky, straight and blocky. All three come in EA's 24 hair colours, so they sit happily next to the game's own hair.
Indigo denim set

Street-style denim in classic washes: a dress, a skirt, a shirt and a vest, each with small feminine details. The pieces mix and match, and the custom thumbnails look like EA's own, so they're easy to spot in CAS.

Mods
Better University

Stops the Sims you aren't playing from failing university. Before each term is graded, it lifts their grades to what an engaged player would earn, marks their finals done and reverses any probation. The Sims you're playing are graded as normal, so you still have to put the work in.
Not Now, Stereo

Turns a home stereo off once its room has been empty for 15 minutes, an hour or two hours. The music keeps playing while anyone is in the room, and the timer resets when they come back.
