Poses need a pose player mod, most often Andrew's Pose Player, which adds a "Pose by Pack" interaction when you click a Sim. A teleport mod helps you line Sims up on the same spot, and some pose packs come with props of their own.

Check each listing for the number of Sims in the pose, the ages it suits and whether it needs a prop or a particular item. Couple and group poses usually need every Sim teleported to the same point first.

To use a pack, install it with the pose player, load your save, click a Sim in Live mode and pick the pose from the pack's menu. For more ways to change the game, see all Sims 4 mods.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use poses in The Sims 4?

Install a pose player mod (with Script Mods Allowed on) and the pose pack in your Mods folder. Then click a Sim in Live mode and choose the pose from the pose player's menu.

Why don't my poses show in the pose player?

Check that the pose pack and the pose player are both in your Mods folder, that script mods are allowed, and that the pose player is updated for the current patch.

Do poses need packs?

Most poses work in the base game. Some use props or objects from packs, and the listing says when they do.
