Lifetime Quirks

A Sims 4 gameplay mod that lets Sims develop Quirks as they grow older: physical problems, emotional struggles or fixations that make life a little more complicated. Up to four can appear over a lifetime, one per life stage, shaped by your Sim's existing traits and what happens to them, and they show up as symptoms before you know what they are. A new hidden Emotional Wellness need for teens and older works like a long-term mood. It drops after setbacks such as a house fire or a breakup and rises with therapy, new friendships, good sleep and spa visits. Book a check-up or a therapy session through the new See a Doctor menu to get a diagnosis. This first phase covers the teen Quirks, from pet allergies and insomnia to sports and MMO fandoms.
Good to know: Needs only the base game; Quirks that use pack content stay silent without it, so pet allergies need Cats & Dogs. Last updated 8 October 2026, and the creator repairs it after patches. Quirks for later life stages are still to come.
